Project

  • Final project for the Master Thesis which was done on May 5th, 2023.  In this project, an E-Commerce website was built.  The purpose of this website was to sell products online.  This website was built using WordPress as the Content Management System and Bluehost as the hosting provider.

Web Design Lab Assistant II:  Central Piedmont Community College – Charlotte NC – August 2014 – Decemeber 2020

  • Assist students in the Lab about  Web Design and computer classes with the coding and Web problems.

INteresting Projects

Project 1: Flipping House

This project was created for the class Front-End Web Development I.  In this project, a website was built with the purpose to flip a house.  The website contained 10 pages with the navigation menu that connected each page together.  The website was created with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.  The homepage contained information about the flipping house.  The other pages are:

  • About Us:  This page provides some information about the owner of the webiste.
  • How to find a property:  This page contains the tips to find a good property.
  • Financing options:  This page contains the information on how to apply for a loan or home equity line of credit.
  • Planning the project:  This page talks about specific goals, types of properties, geographic area, project timeline, and number of projects.
  • Scheduling:  The time it takes to flip a house varies wildly from project to project. Depending on how efficient your contractor crew is and how smoothly the buy and sell process goes, the process can take as little as six weeks and as much as half a year or more.
  • When to use a general contractor:  This page contains information on how to hire a contractor for the flipping house.
  • Inspections:  There are Buyer’s pre-purchase home inspection and Seller’s pre-listing inspections.
  • The closing phase:  This page contains the house closing process for sellers.
  • Contact Information:  This page listed the contact info of the webiste’s owner.

Project 2: Vietnam Kitchen

This project was created for the class Front-End Web Development II.  In this project, a website was built to design a Vietnam Kitchen restaurant.  The website contained 7 pages with the navigation menu that connected each page together.  The website was created with advanced HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.  The pages are:

  • The Homepage:  This page contained information and introduction to the Vietnam Kitchen restaurant.
  • Cuisine:  This page talked about the best Vietnamese cuisine in town.
  • Menu:  This page contained a list of different menu and dished.
  • Services:  This page talked about the excellent service the restaurant offer.
  • More menu:  This page contained more menu with images.
  • Customer Testimonials:  This page displayed the customers ‘ comments about the service of the restaurant.
  • Contact Information:  This page listed the location address, website link, and phone number.

Project 3: Zippy's Auto Shop

Project 4: Healthy Supplements

This project was created for the class Mobile Web Development I.  In this project, a website was built to talk about Healthy Supplements.  The website contained 9 pages with the navigation menu that connected each page together.  The website was created with advanced HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, and React Native.  The pages are listed as follow:

  • Pros and Cons:  This page described the advantages and disadvantages of Healthy Supplements.

Project 5: The benefits of Exercise

This project was created for the class Mobile Web Development II.  In this project, a website was built to talk about The Benefits of Exercise.  This website contained 9 pages which were designed using advanced techniques.  There were two versions for this website. One version was designed using the software named Appy Pie that delivered the mobile device features. The other version was designed using coding that delivered the React Native.  The pages included:

  • The Homepage:  This page contained information and introduction to The Benefits of Exercise.
  • The importance of Exercise:  This page described how important the Exercise is.
  • Pros and Cons:  This page described the advantages and disadvantages of Exercise.
  • Types of Exercise:  This page described different types of Exercise.
  • The patience needed:  This page  described the patience needed for Exercise.
  • Exercise and The Deseases:  This page talked about the cure of Exercise to eliminate the deseases.
  • Exercise and Ages:  This page talked about how Exercise fight against ages.
  • Living Healthy:  This page talked about how to live healthy with Exercise.

Project 6: Online Shop For You

This project was created for the class Graduate Capstone in Informatics.  This project served as a Master Thesis for the Master Degree at Fort Hays State University.  In this project, an E-Commerce website was built with WordPress as the Content Management System and Bluehost as the Hosting Provider.  The main purpose of this website was to sell the products online.  There were 5 pages which were designed using Elementor, a WordPress Page Builder.  The pages included:

  • The Homepage (also Known as The Product page):  This page contained diferrent types of products available for sale.
  • Cart:  This page contained the products that the customer selected that were available for check out.
  • Checkout:  This page contained information about payment methods and shipping methods.  
  • My Account:  This page contained the login and logout procedures for the customers.  After they created an account, the customers can view their recent transactions and their order history.
  • Contact Information:  This page listed the address, website link, and phone number.
